Introduction

The 'Habitat  Heroes' team worked with our school for over a year, successfully improving our outdoor space, enhancing our 'learning outside the classroom', for every child in school.

'Habitat Heroes', works for the Bradford Community Environment Project (BCEP). Working together with BCEP, in June 2010, we successfully applied for funding to allow us to work with the team for a year.

A team of volunteers came to school and dug out a space for our new pond/bog garden. Once this was completed, our 'Garden Gang' members planted up the pond with bog plants.

Every child, from Nursery to Year 6 planted a tree along the boundary of the school grounds.

We are currently working on individual Year Group Pages which will show you more exciting and interesting topics that we have been learning about and taking part in outside the classroom.
