Baildon Horticultural Society
Baildon Horticultural Society is a non-profit making organisation which operates to provide support to members in gardening and growing vegetables, fruit and flowers. The Society administers allotments at Thompson Lane and Charlestown on behalf of Baildon Parish Council.
This year, Baildon Horticultural Society is challenged pupils from Years 4 and 5 and local community groups to grow sunshine in their gardens. The person with the tallest, best and still standing sunflower won a prize.
Sandal was provided with sunflower seeds by the Society with full instructions and tips of how to grow your prize winning sunflower.
The Society hold their Annual Show at Sandal Primary School.
